| Recomend an urban fantasy / supernatural book, female lead but lesbien or bi female lead? OK so i love urban fantasy and supernatural books. I have read the night huntress series, the Pride series, the sookie stackhouse series, the richelle mead succubus series, the devils Night series etc etc. and i love them al, i love books that are the first person narrative or switch narrative of a strong female lead with supernatural/adventure plot. However all female first person urban fantasy seems to follow a formula, 10 strong female with power or strength, individual and anti; weak woman etc(no pink, i can kick any ones *** without help etc) who then falls in love with the deep brooding often bad guy type who she doesn't want to love or is conflicted over etc etc. 2) she has power but is inherently like a kitten who thinks she is a tiger and inevitably the strong guy save her and they fall in love and "save each other"as equals etc etc. this is fine and all but i would love to see an urban fantasy where the female lead is not afraid of her stereotypical femininity and where the guy is actually a girl!!! yes i would like a bi or lesbian lead in an urban fantasy...No i don't expressly want hardcore smut, or even erotica but seen as what I am hoping for is out of the mold i'll take any recommendations i can get thanks |

| -Gakuen Heaven is an anime where they are friends and they go to an all boys school not sure if it's a manga. The same with Sukisho. But those are two of my favorites. -Jadou is my favorite with magic and things. It's about this demon and a human who fall in love. (the demon is really hot he looks normal just with elf ears it's not like a werewolf or anything lol) And Loveless is one of my favorites. The manga is way better than the anime. It involves people who are sacrifices and fighters and they use magic and fight each other. | Young adult historical romance books? I'm looking for some young adult historical romance books. I have just read 'An Earthly Knight' by Janet MacNaughton and loved it. I have also read Meg Cabot's books, Libba Bray's, and Cassandra Clare's. I love books that take place in Ireland/Scotland/England from the 1100s-1900s. | Try Sharon McCrumb's Ballad series, each is named after a ballad. Most have a present day alternating with a past history day chapter. Did you know we almost had a state called Franklyn? It may not be totally YA, but is generally pg13ish for sex. Maybe even G. It also has some ghosts. While it is not part of her Ballad series, I love the one that starts out with the Scottish tour guide. Harry Turtledove does historical fiction, maybe romance books.
